What to put in each step
Step one is what you need: a new part made, a broken part fixed, metal or plastic fabrication, or field work. Add the quantity, the material if you know it, and the date you need the part by. Step two is the drawing or photos. Step three is your name, phone and email, so we can call or write with questions.
For a repair, a photo with a tape measure beside the part is a good start, and a note about what failed helps. For a new part, the drawing with its tolerances and finish is best. See how to photograph and measure a broken part.
